‘Downtown’ shorts will be on sale in mid-October, travel bike announced

A pair of shorts from the downtown Denver area are about to go on sale, according to a post on the city’s Department of Public Works website.

Dubbed the “Downtown City Pants,” the shorts are made from polyester and feature a design similar to the ones seen on the new shorts worn by the band The Killers at the MTV Video Music Awards.

They’re expected to go up for sale at a discounted price of $25.50 on October 31.

A video posted to the department’s website shows a young woman wearing the shorts walking down a busy sidewalk, holding up a sign reading, “Welcome to Downtown.”

The city plans to announce the price and release more details soon.
