A new style for travel shorts that has been in the works for several years now is coming to Kickstarter.
Called “Kickstarter travel shocks” or KTS, the shorts will be made by a company called Magellan, which is one of the founders of the original Kickstarter shorts.
The shorts will have a unique design that resembles a chain link fence.
Kickstarter backers can pick up their new shorts for $7.95 on Magellan’s site.
Magellan says the shorts are designed to be durable, lightweight, and breathable.
They’ll be available in a variety of colors and fabrics, including khaki and brown, and they’ll be priced at $35, $45, and $55.
Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform that lets anyone pledge anything to make their dreams come true.
The goal is to raise $3 million to produce the shorts and put them on sale at a retail price of $70 per pair.
Magellan is the second company to make travel shorts for Kickstarter.
In August, the first Kickstarter project for the same material made it to the top of the site.
The project, which received $2.4 million, made a “travel shock” that resembles an umbrella that fits over your waistband.
